Modern Studio Apartment-Holiday Resort-Ocean View

Pretty decent, a few great things and a few bad things Positive: I very much thought the facilities were good and it was a great location. It was quite nice of the host to provide a dock with two power points and two USB A ports, sadly my phone charging cable is USB C. The availability of a washing machine was a surprise and very much appreciated. Negative: When i first arrived, I had submitted the early check in request but got no response. When messaging the host I don't think they understood due to broken English. There was no toilet paper when I arrived but that was quickly rectified. The smell of cleaning agents was over powering, especially in the bathroom to the point both my room mate and I ended up with irritated throats and sinuses. The bathroom has no extraction fan so if you have a hot shower the whole room fogs up. The bathtub is incredibly difficult to use for those with mobility issues as there is no handrail to grab onto and the lip of the bathtub is quite wide, had to do a weird frog crouch to get out of it, plus there's only room for one towel on the towel rack. The toilet flush is very weak and fills very slowly making a second flush difficult. The ceiling fan didn't work without giving it a wind up with my hand and the lack of powerpoints made it hard to charge phones and use a CPAP machine at the same time difficult.

Positive: Cosy, good location, clean. Facilities were good. Pool and spa were lovely. Gym on site was handy as well. Negative: Very noisy apartment. Looks like it was a 2-bed apartment that’s been split into two apartments with one main door going in and then two separate doors for unit A and unit B. All of these doors banged when left to close automatically and we were disturbed by our neighbours a lot. We could also hear the neighbours above walking around. The carpark (lower basement) had water leaking from the roof the whole time we were there (even when not raining). Our car was dripped on and the water pooled so badly that I had to get my partner to get out of the car before I parked. None of the other car spaces seemed to have this problem. There was a dishwasher but no dishwashing liquid that we could find to hand wash the few dishes we used. Paper towel / tissues would also have been useful. Fake turf on the balcony didn’t dry out well, so was wet the whole time we were there, even when it wasn’t raining. Not a huge issue but we had to remember to wear shoes on the balcony or we’d have wet feet. Small mould issue on the balcony chair. No ventilation in the bathroom but no visible mould there.

Very good Positive: Comfortable bed, great facilities Negative: Could do with an information folder with brief instructions on how to use microwave, washing machine and disposal of rubbish etc. Didn’t like mobile phone tower so close to room and at our level.

Homely and comfy Positive: Loved it - felt like home. Amazing to be able to use the jacuzzi & sauna too. Great view from this 5th floor! Negative: Can’t think of anything
