Comfortable, well-equipped, and conveniently located Positive: The property is conveniently located close to the tram, making it easy to get around. The room and bathroom were both spacious and comfortable. The TV was large, and Wi-Fi was included, which was a great bonus. The apartment was also well-equipped with a microwave, toaster, and other kitchen essentials, making it convenient if you prefer to prepare or enjoy meals in the apartment. The bed and pillows were also very comfortable, which made for a pleasant stay. Negative: The property is a little older than I expected, and some of the furniture is noticeably worn. However, everything was still functional and usable. I’m not sure if this is common in Queensland, but we noticed that whenever we left food in the pantry, cockroaches would appear. It may be worth having the property treated for pests. In the meantime, I’d recommend not storing food in the pantry. Unfortunately, the coffee machine had not been cleaned properly. I found a small cockroach inside the water container, which was quite unpleasant. The coffee capsules were also not provided, which was disappointing. I’m generally not someone who is easily disgusted, but this genuinely surprised me. I think the cleaner should have ensured the coffee machine was thoroughly cleaned before our arrival.

Overall it’s a lovely place to go to especially with an amazing view and such a great location. I hope to come back wit Positive: This is the second time I’ve been to Oaks Gold Coast, the first was when I booked from the oaks hotel itself this second time was privately owned. The location is the main reason I booked in and having an amazing experience from my first booking , I didn’t hesitated. It is very close to the tram station. I’m on a business trip this made it very accessible for me. The views are just beautiful. It’s nice that they have dishwashing liquid and dish trays to wash the dishes. Bath tub was lovely. Negative: Having been here before ( oaks hotel) but on a different room.just a few things to say so the next guests will have an idea what’s ahead. The key is going to be picked up on a different location, I arrived earlier and had to leave my luggage on stasher. Make sure to ask and contact the owner so you can plan ahead. And no you’re not allowed to leave your luggage at the hotel ( hence I opted to Stasher) It would be nice to have a few items available and ready upon arrival e.g tissue box, maybe even bottled water, coat hangers were sparse ,a couple of the towels had a smell to it. Don’t leave anything on the table because you’ll have crawly visitors. The pillows need updating. It’s hard not to say anything because my previous stay on a different room in this hotel was a different experience. Also, I tried asking from the reception for coffee sachets and they refuse to give me because this is a privately owned room.
